- To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
- Do not let your child play with this product.
- Always use the restraint system.
- Check that the pram body, seat unit, or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
- This product is not suitable for running or skating.
- Never use the Switchback Adapter as a handle to lift the Cruiser.
- Never place a child in the Switchback Seat or Bassinet before you have firmly attached the seat to the Cruiser.
- Never remove the Switchback Seat or Bassinet from the Cruiser frame with a child in the seat.
- Always verify the adapter is correctly installed onto the Cruiser before installing a Switchback Seat or Bassinet.
- Maximum weight: 40 lbs for Switchback Seat or 20 lbs for Bassinet.
- Always use the Switchback Seat or Bassinet restraint system as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never use this product if there are any missing or broken parts. Contact Veer Gear for replacement parts and never use substitute parts.
- The Veer Cruiser with a Switchback Seat or Bassinet attached does not replace a cot or bed. If your child needs to sleep, place them in a suitable pram body, cot, or bed.
- Do not use in conjunction with the Switchback ICS Adapter.

About this product
This adapter attaches the Veer Switchback Seat or Veer Bassinet to the Cruiser or Cruiser XL. It is not designed for infant car seats — to attach an infant car seat directly to the Cruiser, you need the separate Infant Car Seat Adapter for Cruiser.
Which adapter do I need?
There are two versions of this adapter — make sure you have the right one for your wagon:
- 2-seat Cruiser or Cruiser City → Switchback Adapter for Cruiser (standard)
- 4-seat Cruiser XL or Cruiser City XL → Switchback Adapter for Cruiser XL
The two adapters are not interchangeable. Using the wrong version will result in a poor fit. The Cruiser XL adapter is slightly larger but functions identically — the Cruiser adapter is shown throughout this guide.
Using your Switchback Adapter for Cruiser

Follow these steps to attach the Switchback Adapter to the Cruiser and install your Switchback Seat or Bassinet. Always secure the Cruiser before attaching or removing any seat.
Secure Cruiser
Press gently on the parking device to engage the brake and secure the Cruiser before proceeding.
✓ Cruiser should not roll when brake is engaged.
Fold down Cruiser seat back
Required if the Switchback Seat will be installed in the rear position facing outward (positions B, D, F) or if the Bassinet will be installed facing inward (position H).
Skip this step if installing the Switchback Seat in a forward-facing or front position only.
Attach adapter to Cruiser sidewalls
Use one adapter per Switchback Seat or Bassinet. Orientate the adapter so the gray dots face the seat back, then place the adapter on the Cruiser sidewalls.
The adapter must be positioned at the end of the fabric side walls.
✓ Adapter should sit flush and level across both sidewalls.
Install Switchback seat
Lower the Switchback Seat onto the adapters until it clicks into place. Listen for an audible click, then pull up to confirm a secure connection.
Remove: Press the seat hub buttons to release, then lift to remove.
✓ No movement when pulling up = secure connection.
Install Bassinet
Lower the Bassinet onto the adapters until it clicks into place. Pull up to confirm a secure connection.
Remove: Slide and press the button on top of the handle, then lift to remove.
✓ No movement when pulling up = secure connection.

Cleaning & maintenance

Routine cleaning
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Thorough cleaning
For a more thorough cleaning, rinse with a hose or hand wash with a mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
Do not use abrasives. Do not put in dishwasher.

This accessory is guaranteed to be free from any manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase under normal use and in compliance with the operating instructions.
This warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original retail purchaser and is only valid when supplied with proof of purchase.
Please retain proof of purchase to activate this limited warranty.
The warranty is valid only in the original country of purchase and is subject to the conditions set out by the country in which the items were purchased. Conditions may vary. Veer will not ship replacement or repair parts out of the country of purchase.
Veer will provide replacement parts or conduct repairs if deemed appropriate by the company. Veer reserves the right to exchange an item for a replacement part. Some parts may be replaced with newer model parts as the Switchback is improved over time.
What's not covered
A repair issue will not be covered by this warranty if:
- The issue is caused by misuse or improper/poor maintenance.
- Damage is corrosion, mold, or rust caused by a lack of maintenance or service.
- Damage is due to general wear and tear resulting from everyday use or negligence.
- Damage is caused by the intensity of the sun, sweat, detergents, damp storage, or frequent washing.
- Repairs or modifications are carried out by a third party.
- This Switchback accessory is purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Approved retailers are listed at goveer.com.
- This Switchback accessory is second-hand.
- This Switchback accessory is damaged as a result of an accident, airline, or freight damage.
