Safety Warnings

Please read all instructions carefully before use

Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

Suffocation hazard

Babies have suffocated on pillows, comforters, and extra padding, and in gaps between a wrong-size mattress or extra padding and product sides.

  • Never add soft bedding or padding.
  • Use only the mattress provided by the manufacturer.
  • Always place baby on their back to sleep to reduce the risk of SIDS and suffocation.
  • If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the manufacturer or one specifically designed to fit the product mattress dimensions.
  • Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as a mattress cover — they can cause suffocation.
  • Discard all plastic packing materials immediately after opening.

Fall hazard

  • Do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 9 kg (20 lbs), whichever comes first.
  • Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.

Strangulation hazard

  • Strings can cause strangulation. Do not place items with a string around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • Do not suspend strings over a bassinet, crib, or cradle, or attach strings to toys.
  • Do not place the Cruiser with the Nap System near a window or patio door where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle an infant.

Injury hazard

  • Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
  • To avoid injury, keep your child away when unfolding and folding this product.
  • Do not let your child play with this product.
  • This product is not suitable for running or skating.
  • This product is intended to be used with the Veer Cruiser only. Do not use in any other product.
  • Always check that this product is securely installed in the Cruiser per the instructions.
  • Always use the braking system when stationary.
  • Never place this product on countertops, tables, or any elevated surface.
  • Never leave a child unattended.

  • Before each use, inspect the Nap System for damaged hardware, loose or missing components, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken. Contact Veer Gear for replacement parts. Do not substitute parts.
  • This product is not intended to be resold after use or returned to a retailer.

Using your Nap System

Complete these six steps to install the Nap System in your Cruiser. Keep children away while assembling, and ensure all locking devices are engaged before placing your child inside.

Lock the brake on Cruiser

Lock brake

Before beginning assembly, engage the Cruiser's braking system to keep it stationary.

✓ Cruiser should not roll when brake is set.

Open the Nap System mattress

Open mattress

Remove the Nap System from its packaging and open the mattress fully.

Dispose of all shipping caps and plastic packaging immediately. Plastic bags and film can cause suffocation.

Unsnap support bars

Unsnap the support bars from the "stow" position.

Rotate support bars to use position

Rotate support bars to "use" position

Rotate the support bars to the "use" position and snap securely into place.

✓ Both support bars click firmly into the use position.

Insert Nap System in Cruiser

Lower the Nap System into the Cruiser. This product is intended to be used with the Veer Cruiser only. Do not use in any other product.

Secure the Nap System

Attach the loops to the Cruiser. The Nap System storage bag attaches to the back of the Cruiser's accessory mounts.

✓ All loops are attached and the Nap System does not shift when gently tested.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Fabric & exterior

Rinse the area to be cleaned thoroughly with clean water. Using a mild detergent, sponge the area gently and air dry.

Do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Mattress cover

To wash the mattress cover, remove the foam mattress first, then machine wash and dry the cover on a gentle cycle.

This accessory is guaranteed to be free from any manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase under normal use and in compliance with the operating instructions.

This warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original retail purchaser, and is only valid when supplied with proof of purchase.

Please retain proof of purchase for this limited warranty.

Coverage details

The warranty is valid only in the original country of purchase and is subject to the conditions set out by that country. Conditions may vary. Veer will not ship replacement or repair parts out of the country of purchase.

Veer will provide replacement parts or conduct repairs if deemed appropriate by the company. Veer reserves the right to exchange an item for a replacement part. Some parts may be replaced with newer model parts as the Nap System is improved over time.

What's not covered

A repair issue will not be covered by this warranty if:

  • The issue is caused by misuse or improper / poor maintenance.
  • Damage is caused by improper installation of Veer parts and/or accessories.
  • Damage is corrosion, mold, or rust caused by a lack of maintenance or service.
  • Damage is due to general wear and tear from everyday use or negligence.
  • Damage is caused by sun intensity, sweat, detergents, damp storage, or frequent washing.
  • Repairs or modifications are carried out by a third party.
  • The Nap System is purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Approved retailers are listed at goveer.com.
  • The Nap System is second-hand.
  • The Nap System is damaged as a result of an accident, airline, or freight damage.
