Is the Veer Cruiser safe?Updated a day ago

Veer Cruisers are designed, manufactured and rigorously tested for safety.  All Veer Cruisers include a safety parking brake and seating with two (Cruiser and Cruiser City) or four (Cruiser XL and Cruiser City XL) 3-point safety harnesses (one for each passenger).

All Veer Cruisers (and more generally, all Veer products that are designed for use with children) meet or exceed the relevant leading global safety standards, including ASTM (U.S.), SOR (Canada), and EN 1888-2 (Europe). As a result, they are certified as safe for children by the Baby Safety Alliance (formerly known as JPMA-certified).

Among many requirements, these standards include strict limits on harmful substances—like lead, and nearly 800 other chemicals identified in California’s Proposition 65 as dangerous to children.

If you’re considering using another product that carries a Prop 65 warning with children, please proceed with caution. Often, lower-cost manufacturing methods—such as those involving lead in powder coating, as just one example—utilize these banned substances and as a result require these warnings. A Prop 65 disclaimer typically confirms that the product contains one or more harmful substances, and manufacturers only include the warning when legally required.
