Is the Veer Cruiser easy to travel with?Updated 4 months ago

Yes!  Unlike most double strollers, Cruisers can be run through most TSA scanners without having to go through special security lines. You may need to remove the rear tires using their one-touch feature for it to run through a security X-ray screener.

Most airlines will allow you to push your Veer Cruiser to the gate. There, you can fold it into its most compact and easy-to-handle size. We recommend that you protect your Veer Cruiser in our Travel Bag for Cruiser or Travel Bag for Cruiser XL before you check it at the bottom of the jetway. The airline staff will place the Veer Cruiser in the general luggage compartment of the plane and will deliver it to you as you exit the plane at the end of your flight. Please contact your airline for specific information.

Note:  This item does not accommodate the new Cruiser City and Cruiser City XL; for these items, a new travel bag will be available this Spring.

Our warranty is not valid for damage sustained during air travel, with or without the transport bag.  Clyde extended protection plans (which can be purchased after checkout on goveer.com for qualifying items like Cruisers) do cover this sort of damage.

The Travel Bag for Cruiser and Travel Bag for Cruiser XL is designed to accommodate the basic Cruiser setup:  Cruiser or Cruiser XL, Cup Holders (placed in footwell), Snack Tray, and the two Front Swivel Wheels which are designed to fit snugly in the top zipper pocket. Here is a video of it in action or check it out on goveer.com.  This item does not accommodate the new Cruiser City and Cruiser City XL; for these items, a new travel bag will be available this Spring.

We have considered a bag that carries more items all in one bag, but it becomes larger and bulky to handle. Families traveling with extra accessories usually pack them in our Travel Bag for Switchback Bassinet & Cruiser Accessories or the Adventure Tote when flying with their Cruiser.
