Parts & replacement

Sleep safety

The Veer Cruiser with an infant seat attached does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, place them in a suitable pram body, cot, or bed.

Using the adapter

+

All assembly and use steps live here, in order. Always verify the adapter is correctly installed on the Cruiser before placing an infant car seat on it, and never attach or remove the adapter or seat with an infant in the seat.

Will my car seat fit?

This adapter is designed for Peg Perego® infant car seats. If you have a seat from another brand — such as Cybex®, Maxi-Cosi®, Nuna®, Clek®, Graco®, Britax®, UPPAbaby®, or Chicco® — you'll need a different Veer adapter.

Not sure about your exact model? Check the compatibility chart at goveer.com or email [email protected] with your car seat's make and model before installing.

Looking to use two car seats?

This adapter holds one infant car seat on the Cruiser. Running a second car seat on a 2-seat Cruiser uses a separate second-seat adapter — it's a different product. If you're unsure which adapter you need, contact [email protected].

Assemble adapter
01

Assemble adapter

Assemble the adapter components as shown.

Lock brake
02

The adapter comes preassembled for positions A & D. If you wish to install your infant seat in positions B or C, see steps 10–12 below.

Place adapter over pins
04

Attach adapter — place over pins

Place the adapter over the highlighted pins on the Cruiser frame.

Orientate adapter
05

Attach adapter — orientate it

Orientate the adapter so the gray dots face the seat back, and place the adapter on the Cruiser sidewalls between the stitch lines.

Latch adapter in place
06

Attach adapter — latch it in place

Position the latch bar under the top rail and pull the latch up until it clicks into place.

✓ Green indicator = correctly installed. Red indicator = incorrectly installed — do not use.

Seeing red, or the latch won't lock? Lift the latch, re-seat the adapter over the pins, and pull up again until the indicator turns green. Never place a car seat on an adapter showing red.

Never place an infant in the car seat before you have firmly attached the seat to the Cruiser.

Always verify the adapter is correctly installed onto the Cruiser before installing an infant car seat.

Attach infant car seat
07

Attach infant car seat

Lower the infant car seat onto the adapter until it locks and you hear a "SNAP."

✓ Confirm the seat is firmly locked before placing an infant in the seat.

Never remove the infant car seat from the Cruiser frame with an infant in the seat.

Remove infant car seat
08

Remove infant car seat

Pull the release latch and lift the infant car seat to release it from the adapter.

The release handle is on the car seat itself, not the adapter — check your Peg Perego® seat's manual if you can't locate it. The adapter stays attached to the Cruiser when you lift the seat off.

Remove adapter
09

Remove adapter

Release the latches and remove the adapter from the Cruiser.

Warning: never attach or remove the adapter with an infant in the seat.

Remove screws from bases
