Less than you'd expect. Any surface warms up in full sun, but the SmartDeck's light finish—the same cool gray we used on Cruiser City—runs cooler than a dark deck would. That matters when a dog is stepping onto it, or when you're reaching in for the sunscreen at two in the afternoon.
