Setting up your Basecamp and Basecamp XL
+−
Follow these steps to set up your Basecamp or Basecamp XL. Always ensure the product is fully erected before placing a child inside.

Remove from storage bag
Remove the Basecamp from its storage bag and place it on a flat, level surface.

Fold six legs downward
Unfold and fold all six legs downward so they extend outward from the base of the Basecamp. Each leg must click firmly into its fully extended position before you move to the next step.
Partially extended legs are the most common reason the center latch won't lock in Step 4 — take a moment to confirm all six have clicked into place.

Lift top to allow sides to take shape
Lift the top of the Basecamp upward to allow the sides to naturally expand and take their full shape.

Press down top until you hear a click
With all six legs fully extended, press down firmly on the top center of the Basecamp with a single deliberate push until you hear and feel a click. This engages the center latch and locks the hub in place.
✓ The center latch must be fully engaged before placing a child inside.
If you don't hear a click: confirm all six legs are fully extended, clear any fabric or mesh from around the hub and try again with one firm downward press. Avoid slow or hesitant pressure — it often stops just short of the lock point. The yellow locking clips on each side of the hub should click visibly outward when fully engaged. If the hub still won't lock, contact [email protected].

Unzip, tuck and secure door
Unzip the door panel, tuck it back against the side of the Basecamp and secure it with the attached straps to keep the entrance open.
Always re-zip the door completely when a child is inside.

Squeeze yellow rods upward
While keeping the Basecamp bottom positioned on the ground, squeeze the yellow rods upward to fully lock the frame into its open position.
✓ All six corners should be fully extended and the frame should feel rigid.
Storing your Basecamp and Basecamp XL
+−
Follow these steps to safely collapse and store your Basecamp or Basecamp XL. Always ensure the Basecamp is empty before collapsing.

Fold six corners downward
To begin collapsing, fold all six corners downward toward the base.
Do this step with the Basecamp empty and on a flat surface.

Lift ends of legs up
Lift the ends of all six legs upward to fold them in and bring the Basecamp into its collapsed position.

Pack and hang on Cruiser
Lift the collapsed bundle and insert it into the storage bag. If not using a car seat adapter, hang the bag on the side of the Cruiser for easy transport.
Secure and use sunshade
Store personal items in the pocket on the outside of the Basecamp. Secure the Basecamp by using tent stakes. To use the sunshade, secure the front toggles to the front loops and clip to the back feet.
If using tent stakes, ensure they do not protrude above ground level.

+−
Routine cleaning
Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasives.
Do not machine wash.
Storage
