Setting up your Air Pad and Air Pad XL
+−
Follow these steps to inflate and set up your Air Pad with the Basecamp. Always ensure the Air Pad is fully inflated before placing a child on it.

Remove from storage bag
Remove the Air Pad from its storage bag, then remove the elastic band and unroll.

Unfold the pad
Remove the two elastic bands and unfold the Air Pad fully on a flat, clean surface.

Open air valve to self-inflate
Open the air valve fully and allow the pad to self-inflate. No pump is needed — the Air Pad draws in air on its own and will gradually expand to about ¾" thick.
Allow a few minutes for the pad to fully inflate before placing a child or the Basecamp on it. If inflation seems slow, check that nothing is blocking the valve opening. Try opening the valve fully as if releasing air, then close it and reopen — this resets airflow through the valve.

Place Basecamp on Air Pad
Place the assembled Basecamp on the Air Pad with the front facing the Veer Gear logo, then secure all six feet with the cords.
✓ All six Basecamp feet should be securely anchored before placing a child inside.
Storing your Air Pad and Air Pad XL
+−
Follow these steps to safely deflate, fold, and store your Air Pad after use.

Remove cords from Basecamp feet
When ready to pack up, remove the cords from the Basecamp feet before lifting the Basecamp off the Air Pad.

Open air valve to release air
Open the air valve to begin releasing air from the pad before folding and rolling it up for storage.

Fold Air Pad
Starting with the front edge and with the air valve facing up, fold the Air Pad, then attach the two elastic bands.

Roll up the pad
Roll up the pad while kneeling on it to push out any remaining air.

Close air valve cap
Close the air valve cap securely to keep air out during storage.

Return to storage bag
Roll up the pad and secure with the elastic band. Insert into the storage bag and hang on your Cruiser for easy transport.
